A LITTLE HIATUS

Okay, I know all two of you have been wondering where I've gone....the answer is pretty simple...between my computer's long slow death .and my Life With Three Boys I just have not had time for my favorite little stress reliever!!! Until my life settles down a bit...you know I started a new job a few months back, my husband started a new job (with a regular paycheck...woohooo!) basketball, baseball, flag football, track, yada yada, I just have not had the time. Actually, time aside, it was really when my computer got "sick" and I was having problems uploading pictures that I started slacking. So, for now my dear and faithful blogging friends, you can follow our doings over at my FLICKR. For now, until I can get my new computer all figured out and setup I will just be posting at flickr....it is much quicker, no problems ever, and lucky you won't have to listen to me just rattle on about nothing!!!! Miss you all and I promise to be back soon!!!

BABY STEPS! BABY STEPS!

Okay, I know I promised to update my blog for you two fans of mine, but since Christmas I have been down with "the sniffles"'. Wah! Poor me! I have taken advantage of not working, no plans and have laid on the couch doing not a thing, seriously, you can even ask my kids who have had to fend for themselves the past 2 days ;-)) Anyways, I have started the whole process!!! I uploaded TONS of pictures on flickr. And, when I say tons I mean tons. Usually I will sort thru and post only a few, but it's your lucky day because I had so much catching up to do that I didn't even sort....I just posted everything!! WOOHOO! Lucky you! Anyways, I seriously am behind a good 5-6 weeks and I will, I promise, blog more tomorrow! Who knows, you just may get a couple new things everyday until I can catch up!!!

Okay, I promise my loyal fans, all two of you, that I will try and start catching up later today...after basketball games, birthday parties, football banquets and decorating our tree! I have TONS of pictures to post so check back later tonight!!!

I PROMISED IT WOULD ONLY BE A WEEK..OR SO!

Well, here I sit at my new desk, which is to die for I must say, on the internet, with whose connection I don't know (our land lines aren't being hooked up til later this week...so make sure you call my cell in the meantime!!)

Our moving weekend went fairly smooth. I CAN'T THANK ALL OF OUR HELP ENOUGH...GARY, VIC, ROB, JIMMY, JULIE, MOMO, PAPA (and Papa's very cool trailer) AND STEPH (for watching the kiddos) . The guys kicked butt and pretty much moved EVERYTHING on Saturday...even the garage that was not even packed!!! Then, after moving Cyndi & Kim were so kind to invite us over for a FABULOUS dinner...thanks Gary, Vic & Gabe for BBQ'ing after moving our stuff all day! And, they even let us dine & dash as we had to leave at 5:30am Sunday morning for a long day of Football in Windsor! Momo & Papa were such troopers all weekend!! The boys had a great game and there will be more posts to come later on that. So, here we are on Monday....I've got a pretty good handle on my unpacking...still alot to do but I'm certainly not overwhelmed! I can't wait for everyone to check out our new place....everything worked out and I absolutely LOVE the house! I will post pics soon!

And, a little shout out to Steph and her "comment/posting" post on her blog...it's worked! Thanks Lorraine for going back to work! Don't be afraid to leave a comment here too ;-))

OVER & OUT...

It's almost MOVING day!!! To all two of my fans, please bear with me and my lack of posting for the next week or so while we pack up and move on out! We are so excited this whole process is about over, as I'm sure JuJuBe is too, and can't wait to have some new neighbors.....watch out Reeeeedllls here we come!!!!

So, I know you will all wait with baited breath for my return, which I'm sure will be filled with lots of "fun" moving stories!!

Okay, after over EIGHT LONG MONTHS of having our house on the market...out of the blue....we got an offer the end of last week! In this crazy California Real Estate Market it was a good offer! I don't want to jinx anything....we are in the process of going thru all the inspections, and of course we are still in the 17 day cancellation period so keep your fingers crossed! Now, what's next for us?? stay tuned!!

WARNING! IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH DO NOT LOOK!

Okay, so sometimes after a long day of running around we just "wing it" for dinner! This usually makes my kids quite happy as they can have whatever they want...within reason :-)) Everyone knows I love to cook, THANK GOD, and I married the only G--r-i-o who DOES NOT cook. Which suits me just fine and here is why...... He would kill us all! Nothing like taking left over Beef Stroganoff, which was quite good I must say, and putting grated american cheese and microwaved salami on it! DISGUSTING!!!!! And, he wonders why he has bowel issues!! LOL!!! He has to mess with everything. For example...frozen pizza....can't just take it out of the box and stick in the over. NO! He must spend 30 minutes "doctoring" it up with say olive oil, spices, more cheese, whatever might jump out at him! Honey, I hate to tell you this but an 88 cent Totinos Pizza will still be an 88 cent Totinos Pizza!!

So, after all the grief I gave him, the next night we went to some friends for a casual swim and hot dogs......

I have officially had 13,000 unique hits to my blog! I know for alot of bloggers they get that in a day or hour, but for my little blog that's exciting!! I still have NO IDEA who is checking it out though, other than the regular commenters...Steph & Vicki!! Anyone else? Or is this just for my amusement only!?!? LOL! NOTHING SAYS RELAXING...

...like a little BBQ on a Friday night, a nice glass of Gnarly Head Old Vine Zin...voted BEST red wine at Steph's Wine Tasting Party by the way.....like a four year old swallowing a FREAKIN MAGNETIX BALL!!! Yeah, that would be Joshy! Just finished dinner, poured a 2nd glass for myself to sit and watch the kids play Big Brain Academy on Wii when the freakout happened!!! It was the weirdest moment....Joshy had this freaked out panicked look on his face and was hysterical crying.....the ball obviously had gone down but he was freaking out that the Dr. would have to "cut his throat with a knife and he was going to die". Thanks goodness for Justin for getting him to calm down while I was on the phone with the Advice Nurse & Poison Control. And, bless Jake's heart he was trying to console Joshy but was more concerned with "how this would affect our trip to Lake Almanor" Oh brotherly love! Anyways, Posion Control said it should pass in 2-4 days, so lucky us, we get to play with poop while on vacation! Fun stuff I tell ya! So, as long as he doesn't have any stomach pains or throwing up he should be fine and it will just pass...thru poop....ick! Those who know Josh though know how OCD he is and I must say how pathetically sad it is hearing him ask me every 2 seconds "I'm not going to die, rigbt, Mommy"?? Poor little buddy!! Hopefully he will learn from this because JOshy is ALWAYS putting things in his mouth....

And, by the way, did you know that kids HAVE died from swallowing TWO magnetix items....they attach together inside the stomach and can pinch off your intestines and blood flow. The Posion Control guy told me that after he asked me about 25 times if I was absolutely positive he did not swallow two.....maybe these should be recalled?!?!?!

AS PER THE STAGER...BEFORE & AFTER....

As you all know, my house has been on the market for SIX months! What is the problem I ask? Does my house suck that bad? Who knows...I know the Real Estate Market is sucky right now but the the heck?!?! So, my dear friend and Realtor had a Stager come over...basically I have cute stuff and the colors are great...but cute decor and designer colors don't sell! So, after a week of decluttering my already decluttered house and painting my freshly painted house here is what we have....

TO MY DEAR & LOYAL FAITHFUL READERS....

"So much to blog, so little time" seems to be my new motto! Life is just crazy...still! You know, the regular stuff...Baseball, Track, Basketball, throw in a little Football, School stuff, Preschool stuff, House stuff, Work, tons of year end school stuff, getting ready for our trip to LA for Justin's award banquet...well, you get the picture! But, never fear my loyal readers I have lots of pictures to back this all up with! We only have 10 school days (and work days for me left) and then we will slow down a little bit! So, do stay tuned and don't give up on me and my little blog!

On a side note, everyone is asking about Pap updates....Papa's surgery went good, textbook said his Dr. They were able to "fix" a couple other problems that showed up in his angiogram while replacing his aorta. He stayed in the hospital for about a week after surgery and is now home, feeling good and recovering. Nuse Momo is taking good care of him I'm sure :-) So, thanks to everyone who has called, emailed and asked!

WOOHOO! I'M SO RELIEVED!!

Okay, I feel so much better now that I've got some blogging done! Oh how I've missed my little blog. Seriously, it is my "me" time to sit down and blog and I find it quite realxing and theraputic at times!!! My creative writing juices were not flowing tonight, so basically you're getting pictures with briefs captions! And, probably lots of grammar and seplilng errors! ...MASS CRAZINESS, NO SLEEP and LOTS OF CANDY WRAPPERS!! LOL! Yeah, it rained on Justin's sleepover...but it's all good! Stay tuned for all the details! My last week and half has caught up to me today! I'm a bit tired and burnt out...I have lots to blog though-the boys trip camping, Easter, day at the Nut Tree, Bunco/Girls Birthday Night out, Jake's Baseball, Justin's Dragons Basketball and Track & Field, Justin's Birthday and a few Sleepyhead Joshy's!
