PAINTBALL!

Justin had his first "shot" at Paintball this weekend at his buddys' Birthday Party! The boys had such a blast!! Justin can't wait to go again next weekend!! There were a couple nasty war wounds, which the boys are really quite proud of, but for the most part it was fairly painless! At least I think that :-))

BUNCO BIRTHDAYS!

It was that time again...time to celebrate a few Birthdays from our Bunco group! Happy Birthday Kerry, Steph, Lorraine, oh, and Me! We always have a GREAT time and wish we could get out more often! We had good food, drinks and laughs at Macaroni Grille! Thanks my friends for the Gift Certificate for a weekend at the Spa in Calistoga! I CAN'T WAIT to get away!

BASKETBALL-WEEK #2

Week #2 of Basketball! Both of the boys had great games. All these years of watching Justin has really paid off for Jake and he is doing a great job in Division I. Justin is in his second year of Divison III and is very fortunate to have the best coach! Jake has a great coach also, and quite a cute one if I might add :-))

However you'll have to stay tuned for updates next week. The boys both played AT THE SAME TIME yesterday (yes, in the midst of all this sickness), so obviously I missed Jake's since Joe is Coaching his team. Next week I shall take lots of pictures for ya'all!

MY WEEK IN PICTURES...

Let's go back to the prior week....Justin home 2 days from school with a "virus"...

Tuesday...Jake not feeling well...it's strep....home from school the rest of the week....

Thursday...Joshy...fever and cough...it's a "virus"...home from school....

Friday night, Justin up all night coughing & puking....decides to "try" and play in his first basketball game....come home and BAM! 105 fever....Sunday morning, off to Dr....can't figure out what it is he has...treats him for Bronchitis....guess he'll be home from school again tomorrow...but hey, at lest the boy still does his homework while on his death bed.....

aaahhhh, more poor *camera shy* hubby...SICK with THE "virus"...ticked that I'm trying to take his picture while he's sick....VIcki, Steph, help.... :-)

I had to throw this in because as I'm trying to refill the vaporizer for Justin, turn a computer game on for Jake, Josh decided to clear the table himself.....whoopsee!!! Soup on the floor....

So, the Dr. says this will help....

But, seriously, I think a little of this and they will all be just fine.....

In the meantime, I shall have one of these....

In all seriousness, I really hope mi familia is on the mend now that they are all medicated! It's been a long week around here with too many trips to the Doctor! And, thank goodness Mommy wasn't sick!

On a bright note, I heard from a long lost freind who I have not talked to in several years!!

HELP ME!!!!

Just got home from my Basketball Duties...my family was asleep....

Joe has sore throat and sniffles...
Joshy's fever is down but hacking away....
Jake is on day three of antibiotics for strep throat...
Justin was up all night coughing and now running a 105 degree fever!! (I feel bad because he tried to play his first Basketball game today) Called advice they said bring him in to Emergency tonight if it doesn't go down....

HELP ME!!!!!!

WELL, IT'S NOT "JUST A VIRUS"

Okay, bad Mom!! Jake woke up feeling better today and really wanted to go to school....the bad mom in me came out and sent him knowing I probably should've kept him home one more day. Needless to say I got a call from the school, which is not that uncommon though usually from the school Nurse, and Jake wsn't feeling well!! Long story, off to the Dr. for what I was sure I would be told was a virus, but not, he's got STREP THROAT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just crazy! I am still convinced Justin had strep last week but she said no he didn't need to be tested! Strep has been running rampant around "our town"! So, off to Walmart once again for Antibiotics this time. I'm sure the greeter at Walmart must think I'm just nuts at this point!!!!!!!!!

"IT'S JUST A VIRUS"

....the FOUR dreaded words when you take your kids to the Dr. And, you know how much it costs us to hear those FOUR words??? About $70 bucks! One of my kids has had a "virus" for the past month and half. It all started around Thanksgiving when Jake got Strep Throat. I'm pretty sure he had it back to back but the Dr. said the second time it was a "virus" without even testin him for strep. Which by the way, that's about $120 bucks!!! All 3 kids then had coughs/sniffles thru December then day after Christmas Joe & I got the sore throat/cough "virus" and Jake had the stomach flu that ended with another sore throat/cough/fever that lasted pretty much the rest of Christmas break. But, another trip to the Dr. and those four words again!!!! Finallly, the kids WENT BACK TO SCHOOL (very short lived woo-hoo!!!) last Wednesday and sure enough Justin came down with the stomach flu Wednesday night. Got over the stomach part then I thought he might have strep or an ear infection so I took him to the Dr. and guess what???? It was a freakin' "virus". Go home drink fluids, take some tylenol she says. Gee thanks.... Now, Jake is again running a fever!!! He started feeling sick Sunday (yeah, during my b'day dinner....whatever!!) and went to bed with a 102 degree temp. I guess I shouldn't of let him go to the Warriors game Monday but he insisted so I medicted to boy up and sent him on his way. When he got home needless to say he looked thrashed!!!! So, here we are Tuesday...Justin still hacking, but sent him to school anyways....and Jake with a fever and barking cough....do I take him back to hear he has a "virus" or no?!?!? One more trip to Walmart for Meds and I'll scream!!! One good thing has come out of my kids being sick though (demented, huh?!?!?) Remember my "Laundry Sucks" post??? Well, I can officially say that the last black garbage bag full of dirty clothes is now in the dryer!!!!!!!

So, that's my rant for the day!!! I need a night away from sick kids and go figure for the first month in 6-7 years we are not having Bunco on this coming 3rd Friday of the month!!!!!!!
