The day is here! My dear friend Steph is the BIG FOUR-OOOHHHH...and it's time to celebrate! It just so happens we have Bunco on her Birthday at my house, so let the celebration begin! Steph is the best friend a girl could ask for and as soon as I met her about 10 (??) years ago I instantly knew we'd be friends! Little did I know our kids would become the best of friends as well as our husbands! And now that we live a block away it doesn't get any better! JAKE'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Two weeks later...Jake's party! We had a great time at the Bowling Alley! The kids had a random day off of school so it was fun to have pretty much the whole place to ourselves! The kiddos bowled, had pizza, played video games and had good 'ol fun! What a great group of boys! You'd think with 19 boys, and one girl!!, it would be craziness but they are such a great group of boys!! Thanks everyone who came and helped make Jake's day special and for all the awesome gifts! Escpecially his new digital camera which he loves!!! You never know when he will sneack up on you and take a picture!!! (more pics at my flickr!)

JOSHY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Joshy had a great Birthday Party at Cool Patch Pumpkins...home of the Worlds Largest Corn Maze! Cool Patch is such an awesome place and I love having a party there! The kids always seem to have so much fun and it's something different! HUGE thank you to everyone that came to help Joshy celebrate! Today Jakey is turning the big 8! It's so hard to believe he's already 8 years old and a big second grader! Jake is my sweet and sensitive one with a wacky sense of humor! He's had a rough couple of weeks between getting his expander put in, Mom messing it up and jabbing a hole in the roof of his mouth, and fracturing his thumb at football last weekend! But, he's tough! He's already had some birthday fun...Kings game with Lexi earlier this week, fun with a friend today, his FAVE Mongolian BBQ tonight and his bowling party on Monday! Hope you have a good day today Jakey-poo!

We then met some friends of ours (whose two boys play football with Jake & Justin) at Chevy's to celebrate both Josh & Meagan's (2nd) Birthdays! After dinner we went over to their house for a little cake! Thanks Sheri & Darrel for the cake! It was fun! Meagan at Chevy's...how darn cute is she!!!
And Joshy...I think this is why my kids like to go to Chevy's...so they can get the sombrero!

Slowly we are settling into our new place, then my computer took a dump....well, not actually a dump but literally ran out of dicsk space on the hard drive. So, now we are all better!! In themeantime, I've missed some family birthdays!!!

Today Joshy is staying 4 NOT turning 5! He has decided he wants to stay 4 forever. At first it was because he didn't know how to back up a car, now he just wants to stay my baby forever!! How precious!! Actually, I think he doesn't want to give up sippy cups! Anyways, I hope my baby forever has a great day today and has fun with all the special things he will be doing today!

Happy Birthday to my niece Brittany! We were lucky enough this year to actually get to celebrate her birthday with her up at Lake Almanor! Hope you had a great day on the boat and have fun with your present!!

JUSTIN'S 12TH BIRTHDAY

We survived the sleepover! 14 twelve years olds and one 7 year old!! (yes, Jake was in all his glory with the big boys!! AND huge THANK YOU to Stacie for taking Joshy for the night!) Despite the rain and having to stay inside it was a fun night! Only a few crazy moments! The kids got very creative with two Wii systems going an had a game of Wario Smooth Move Knockout. It was hysterical watching these boys. They are a great group of kids and we are very fortunate Justin has such a good group of friends to hang out with! Watch out CAJ!!!

A little more sugar to wind them up!.... Instead of the traditional Happy Birthday they sang the Chevy's Happy Birthday song! Look for it on youtube soon!
And, with some of his cash he got THE WAVE strret surfer! He's been saving his money for it! I'm very proud to say he set some money aside for his trip to LA and put some in the bank!! Good boy....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BOI!

Okay, so I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that Justin is TWELVE years old today and will soon be off to Jr. High!! How the heck did that happen?!?! One more year 'til he's a TEENAGER!! We are very proud of him in so many ways...he's a good big brother (for the most part...) loves school and loves sports! He's very responsible and takes things very seriously. And, luckily he's not into the girls yet...thank goodness :-)) I know there are big things out there for him as he gets older! As his Elementary School days come to an end we look forward watching him grow thru the next phase of his life!!

Happy 20th to Dave & Cat's oldest! I can't believe he is 20 today! Wow! So, that would've made him about 4 when Joe & I started dating! How did that happen?!?!? He's growing into a great "man" and his cousins adore him! Hope you're day is a good one!!

It's the Birthday before the BIG 4-0! I couldn't find "the" picture I was looking for, so maybe next year!! The boys have big camping plans this weekend. Backpacking was out...it's still too early in the year and roads are still closed! Anywyas, hope they have fun and don't get rained on!! Happy Birthday love bug!
