WHERE DOES THE TIME GO??

COUSIN LOVE!

Joe's sister Caterina and my BIL Dave and the boys came up to watch the games then over for a little BBQ. The boys love hanging out with their cousins! Michael (sitting) is 17 and will be a Senior next year. About 15 Colleges have already sent him letters asking him to come play Football for them which is very cool! Bigtime Colleges like Yale and ASU. Matthew (standing) is in his 2nd year of College. He's living in his Fraternity house in Chico and loving life! They are both great "kids"!

BASKETBALL HAS COME TO AN END

...Sadly! As if you didn't already know this, we LOVE Basketball season! Jake had such an awesome season and we are so proud of how well he played and what a team player he is! And, if you can believe this, they went 0-0-10....they TIED every game! How awesome is that? Every one was a winner!

It took me all season, but I finally got the shot I was hoping for....My little Jakey in action..... And, Justin's team had a great season too! They finished 6-4, and remember two of those losses were only by ONE point! Even though they lost their last game, they played a great game against a team whose smallest guy was bigger than our biggest guy...the team is HUGE! It was pretty neck in neck most of the time and they ended up losing only by under 10 points. Justin played hard and yes, did get hurt and had to sit out most of 2 quarters.

And, had to post this one. Joshy's pregame chat with referee Dustin. Joshy just loves Dustin! Of course he shows his love by whacking him when he sees him....

OPENING NIGHT BASEBALL

WOW! Baseball has started! Opening Night was Friday, and once again we DID NOT win the raffle!! :-)) Jake is so excited to finally have his 3 years of T-Ball behind him and is now moving onto Coach Pitch. Joe & Jimmy...aka Anna Grace's Dad...are once again coaching the boys. They picked an AWESOME team-great kids/players and families. We are very excited for the season to get under way!

MY LITTLE 4.0

I have been to every Honor Roll Assembly since 4th grade and I was actually a bit sad Friday to attend the last one for Justin. He is heading off to Jr. HIgh in a few short months. It is so hard to believe how fast it has gone by. I remember his 1st day of Kindergarten like it was yesterday! We are very proud of our little studious one! He loves school, takes it very seriously, and is always up for a challenge from his teacher. It's going to be fun...and interesting...watching him and all his best buddies grow up and transition into Jr. High!!

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LEAVE THE BOYS ALONE....

...with their DAD! I went for a couple of drinks Friday night, to catch up with my friends, and this is what I came home to!!! (thanks friends, as much as I wanted to go home and go to bed that night out was just what I needed!!) Justin has said all basketball season he wanted a mohawk for his last game so Joe did it! I really didn't think he would but he did! Now, he wants to keep it for school...whatever...what am I to do???

WHEN SPORTS COLLIDE!

Jake is a busy boy these days, as is Mom's taxi! Basketball is winding down it's season, sadly.... Baseball practice has begun...... (Jake in the white #4 jersey)

And, Football signups have happened! Yes, flashback to last year when we, well I, finally let Justin sign up...in 6th grade...Joe said I have no say in the matter of Jake palying this year...as a 2nd grader...Needless to say Mom is a little hesitant about it and Justin is ticked he had to wait until he was in 6th grade!!! Life is so unfair!!

My little Mitey Mite....and Justin has moved up to PeeWee this next season-we can't wait!!

BAKSETBALL - WEEK'S #8 and #9

Justin and his team have had a great season. They have only lost 3 games, and two of those losses were only by ONE point! They are playing well as a team, thanks to their awesome coach!!

I was working but thanks to the AWESOME Gals I work with (Thanks Cyndi & Norma!!!) I was able to sneak out and catch 2 quarters of the game. It was an exciting game to the end from what I hear! Good job boys!! You all know Justin Blue #22 and that's Wolfie #21 Gray....

Jake's game week #8 was against his good buddy Jay. They both played an awesome game and I think they even gaurded each other a few times. We are so proud of how well Jake has done this year and what a great team player he has been. It's so much fun watching the boys play in Division #1!

A LITTLE JOSHY & ANNA GRACE

Joshy is so thrilled that he gets to see his Anna Grace EVERY day now! They even got to play at the park while their brothers were practicing...

WEEKEND WITH G'MA

Joe's Mom came to visit a few weekends ago to watch the boys Basketball games and she picked an awesome weather weekend so we decided to hit the Farmer's Market in the next town over. I always forget how much fun it is and how much the kids love it! This time it was just Joshy, G'Ma and I. Joshy loved it! THere was lots of fun stuff for the kiddos!

JUSTIN'S POP WARNER SCHOLASTIC AWARD BANQUET

As most of you probably read on an earlier post, we headed up to Reno this past weekend for the Pop Warner Pacific Northwest Region Scholastic Awards Banquet. Come to find out, there are over 25,000 kids in the Region and less than 300 were selected to receive this award! It came as a bit of a surprise and we are very proud of Justin (and Trenton, too!!) The Banquet itself was very nice and we had a yummy dinner!
