Okay my friends, I just wanted you to know I am NOT IGNORING your blogs...I am checking...sometimes several times a day :-))))...I just can't seem to comment right now for some reason!!! However, I won't name names, but I am waiting patiently for some of my dear friends to updates their blogs!!! I know ya'all are busy and all but that's no excuse! heehee!!

8/28/06 Update...SO BIZARRE!!
BOULDER, Colo. - Prosecutors abruptly dropped their case against John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, saying DNA tests failed to put him at the crime scene despite his repeated insistence he killed the 6-year-old beauty queen. Karr, 41, will be kept in jail in Boulder until he can be sent to Sonoma County, Calif., to face child pornography charges dating to 2001, authorities said.

“I want to have only very limited comment on today’s arrest because I feel it is extremely important to not only let the justice system operate to its conclusion in an orderly manner, but also to avoid feeding the type of media speculation that my wife and I were subjected to for so many years…the investigation of the individual arrested today in connection with JonBenet’s death was discussed with Patsy and me by the Boulder district attorney’s office prior to Patsy’s death in June. So Patsy was aware that authorities were close to making an arrest in the case and had she lived to see this day, would no doubt have been as pleased as I am with today’s development almost 10 years after our daughter’s murder.”

JUSTIN'S VERY FIRST JAMBOREE!!

As most of you know, this is Justin's first year playing Football and I must say we are all loving it! It is alot of fun to watch the kids out there...they look like pros! Overall, Justin is loving it! For his first year, I think he is doing good, but he has ALOT to learn!!! His coaches have been great and it's so far been a great experience!!! And I promise not to post football pictures for the next three months!!!! (check out my flickr for more pics)

And, Mr. Joshy....thank goodness Allison Kate brought her Nintendo DS-Joshy sat in the chair with the blanket over his head (to block the sun so he could see & because it was so cold) most of the day playing it!!! Guess what he'll be getting for his birthday!?!?!?

...IT'S TOOOOO CUTE TO NOT POST!! Anna Grace came over week or so ago to hang out with Joshy! He's missing her now that she's a big girl and in Kindergarten every morning!!

JOE'S "MINI" FAMILY REUNION

Okay, I know it's been a couple of weeks now, but Joe's sister had all his siblings and a few other Family members over for a litlle Reunion. With all of Joe's siblings living so far apart it is QUITE challenging to get everyone together at the same time! It was a great day of swimming, hanging out, eating and a few fireworks! The guys even put on a jamm session at the end of the night! It was a great day and the cousins had so much fun playing!! For the full set of pics check out my flickr photos.

Happy Birthday Christian! Today my nephew turns TWELVE years old! WOW!!! I can't believe it! He is growing up so fast...it kills me when I think about how far away they have always lived!! Luckily my sister keeps her blog updated regularly so I can keep up to date on his goings on!! They are getting ready to go back to school next week....which I believe he will be going into his second year of Jr. High!! We all hope you have a great birthday today! And, if blogger will ever let me, I will post a picture with this! (Why can't I post pics???? Anyone else having this problem???)

WOOHOO! SCHOOL'S BACK IN SESSION!

WOW! I can't believe our summer vacation has come to an end and the kids are back to school! The summer seriously flew by! The kids both had a great first day of school!!! I also can't believe Jake is now a big FIRST grader and is in school all day now and Justin is a SIXTH grader and his last year of Elementary School! Wow! That only means one thing...we are getting old :-(((

Jake and Lexi are in the same class this year! They are so excited, as are Steph and I...now we can keep each other on track with what's going on!

Justin is so thrilled that he has almost all of his buddies in his class for his last year at GH! In the words of my hubby to their teeacher Mr. Nelson "May the Force be with you"....

Justin & Wolfie....at least they got to sit next to each other for a few minutes at least...and Kyle.... This is only the second time they have been in the same class all thru elementary school!

FOOTBALL HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

Well, Justin survived week #1 of conditioning. It was a long week-practice was 3 hours a night! Overall he is really loving it. He was definitely tired last week and sore using muscles he doesn't use in Basketball! Joe & I took turns at practice last week watching and let me tell you Football is a whole different world! I've got lots to learn...I had no idea what they were doing or talking about :-)) It is going to be alot of fun watching the boys play, I do know that! Trenton (Stacie's son) is on the same team and he is also doing AWESOME! I never knew that boy could run so fast! Tonight is their first practice in full pads so I can't wait to hear all about it! I'm sure it is going to be alot different doing the conditioning drills with full pads! I shall keep you updated though!!!

Conditioning-Day #1..... (Justin is in the maroon shorts & gray tee. Trenton is in the green shirt & black shorts) I wanted to take more pics but didn't want to look like the dork rookie mom at football...how uncool that would've been!!!

JAKE & ALLISON KATE

Jake & Allsion just finished up two weeks of swim lessons! It worked out being just the two of them in then class! At first Jake did not want to go, but once he got there and found out he had a guy teacher he was thrilled! They both did a great job learning some basic strokes and diving for rings! I feel comfortable now with Jake in the pool without his life jacket! By the last day they (Allison at least) were diving off the board! Jake had a hard time and belly flopped most of the time! It was fun and a good excuse to chat with Stacie for 30 minutes every day!

Allison Kate is now officially a Level 4 swimmer, however Jake is still Level 3.....

Happy Birthday to our neice Giuliana! Hope you have a GREAT "Salon" party! I know you girls will have so much fun!! We are so glad we got to see you this weekend!!

Justin's Football practice, Jake & Allison's swim lessons, Our National Night Out Block Party & Joe's mini Family Reunion.
