8/28/06 Update...SO BIZARRE!!
BOULDER, Colo. - Prosecutors abruptly dropped their case against John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, saying DNA tests failed to put him at the crime scene despite his repeated insistence he killed the 6-year-old beauty queen. Karr, 41, will be kept in jail in Boulder until he can be sent to Sonoma County, Calif., to face child pornography charges dating to 2001, authorities said.
“I want to have only very limited comment on today’s arrest because I feel it is extremely important to not only let the justice system operate to its conclusion in an orderly manner, but also to avoid feeding the type of media speculation that my wife and I were subjected to for so many years…the investigation of the individual arrested today in connection with JonBenet’s death was discussed with Patsy and me by the Boulder district attorney’s office prior to Patsy’s death in June. So Patsy was aware that authorities were close to making an arrest in the case and had she lived to see this day, would no doubt have been as pleased as I am with today’s development almost 10 years after our daughter’s murder.”

I want details of what he did since he says it was an "accident"...she was raped, strangled and bound. I hope they do have enough to prove that he was the one,to give her poor family some peace. The justice system will hopefully take care of the rest!
I'm on the fence. I think because he got busted in a very bad place with horrible jails, he may have lied about the killing of her, a high profile killing to get out of there and back into the US. I will have to watch it all play out. See what they find. They do have DNA, so lets wait and see.
I don't know what to think....when I first heard what he was spouting off.....sounded weird......I hope the DNA bust's him big time....otherwise he's just a freak who loves the attention
