RANDOM WEEKEND PICS

Saturday started off with Justin running in our town's 5K Fun run/walk. He loves this kind of stuff! He finished in 14 minutes 8 secoonds! I needed a nap after watching him :-))) Justin & Carly...a "girl" in his class. She is absolutley adorable and they are always head-to-head running!! He was absolutely mortified that I took this picture...girls are still so creepy to him :-)))
Aaawww....Wolfie & Joshy! Joshy sure loves Wolfie and he had him all to himself with Justin gone!!! Joe had taken the two older boys golfing and Rob & Steph were heading to Lowe's so the kiddos, including MM, came to hang with us!
We headed out on Sunday to take the kids fishing...We went up towards Lake Berryessa and found a little spot on Putah Creek where there was actually no people! I was pretty packed up there! The kids have been dying to go fishing, but with Baseball, Basketball, year end school activities, etc. timing has been tough! It was fun to just get in the car last minute and head on out!

Joshy enjoying a powdered donut!
Getting ready to go catch a BIG ONE! Justin actually had a little nibble but it got away!
Jake loves the outdoors!
Joshy looked like a pro... Waiting oh-so-patiently for a fish! He kept asking when the fish were going to get there!!!

And, the most important part of fishing..."what's for lunch, Mom?!?!"
After a fun family day we headed back home and off to some friends for a BBQ...it was a fun day and night had by all! Today we are just re-grouping and getting ready for the craziness of the last week of school! So hard to believe Jake will be going into 1st grade, Justin into 6th-his last year of grade school and H=Joshy will FINALLy be starting pre-school! Hope you all had a great weekend too!

PICNIC DAY AT SCHOOL

oh, the pressures to blog!! heehee! I've been quite flaky lately about posting...and I do have plenty to post! These last couple of weeks of school are crazy! I have not had my camera with me much this week, but did manage to get a few pics on Picnic Day at the school. The kids love Picnic Day...BBQ hamburgers & hotdogs and lots of goodies and the families come to school at their lunch time and picnic with them!! It's always fun to watch the kids in their school element! They are all a funny group of kiddos!!

Jake enjoying a hotdog with his class....
off to lunch with Justin and his buddies.... Not quite sure what they are doing here....

I'M CONVINCED...

SAD, SAD DAY!

Sweet, Sweet Elliott Yamin was voted off American Idol tonight! It was SOOOOO close! I'm so sad...he has been one of my favorites from the get-go! He's just such a lovable kind of guy...maybe because he loves his mama so much!! He has come so far and I know there will be big things ahead for him!!!

MAYFAIR!

Well MayFair weekend has come and gone for us! It started on Thursday and we were there! It was great....The weather was perfect and it was not crowded and the kiddos and their friends got their money's worth of rides! We were there until 10pm when the kids were about to drop!! We met up with alot of our friends and everyone had a great time! Saturday was Parade time...Justin and his buddies Wolfie & TJ dressed up as, you guessed it, Pedro, Napoleon & Kip and scooped poop while Jake & Joe rode with their T-Ball team! Momo & Papa came down for the Parade (thanks for keeping Joshy entertained!) and we headed back out to MayFair for a couple of hours. It was way too hot and way too crowded Saturday for me! The kids only got to ride a couple of rides it was so packed! Check out my flickr page for now to see our photos! I will post a few on here later!!

SACRAMENTO KINGS POST SEASON UPDATE

Adelman's gone.... :-((

From the Sacramento Kings Beat-

The Sacramento Kings and Rick Adelman have mutually agreed that a renewal of his contract for the 2006-07 season will not be pursued, it was announced today by Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.
"I want to thank Rick personally and professionally for his hard work and determination. He leaves as the winningest coach in Sacramento Kings history. My respect and admiration for him as a coach remains undiminished," said Petrie.
Adelman guided the Kings to playoff appearances in each of his eight seasons, including back-to-back Pacific Division titles in 2001-02 and 2002-03. In addition, Sacramento won 50 or more games in five consecutive seasons (2001-01 - 2004-05).

LOOK AT MY BIG BOY!

Okay, so I woke up Thursday morning and decided I AM NOT GOING TO BUY DIAPERS ANYMORE!!! I didn't care how mad Joshy got or how many accidents he would have I wasn't going to cave in! I have been buying diapers for ELEVEN YEARS STRAIGHT with no break, and at one point buying diapers for two!! Much to my surprise Joshy put on his big boy undies and has not looked back! He's very proud of the fact his first "P @@P" was at Steph's and she gave him a big bag of skittles!!

We are very proud of him! All five of us & the dog have to watch him everytime!!

The final result.....

SACRAMENTO KINGS CORNER

Well, the Kings season has come to an end! It's been a roller coaster season with all the changes but they ended at least making it to the first round of playoffs! We look forward to next season and will patiently await what changes lie ahead!!

TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE....

...a very short trip that is! I was on a mission to find a particular picture and came across my scrapbooks...which have not been opened since, oh, well, probably 7 years ago when I only had one child, no schedule to follow, no sports.... well, you get the picture!!! I was crazed back then when it came to scrapbooking!! Stay tuned, I will scan more later! Here's a quick peek at one of my pages (not the best- trying to scan an 11x14 page on a 8x10 scanner is fun) This was 4th July, 1998...look how young and sweet Justin & Wolfie were..ARE!!! And Rob still looks the EXACT same!!!
