POP WARNER NATIONAL SCHOLAR BANQUET

As most of you know, Justin was selected by Pop Warner to the All American Scholastic First Team for this past Football Season. Basically, he was one of thirty-five 6th graders in the whole nation chosen for this honor. It's based strictly on scholastics and extracuricular scholastic activites...all sports excluded. It really is a great honor for these kids who are chosen as Pop Warner is a very scholastic based sports program! So, Memorial Day Weekend we went down to Anaheim for the Banquet. Thanks to Momo & Papa for watching Jake & Josh and thanks to Joe's parents for making the trip to LA with us! We had a jammed packed weekend with lots of sightseeing inbetween! We went to Downtown Disney and had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, checked out ESPN Zone, went to the Crystal Cathedral, Hollywood Blvd, Gromans Chinese Theartre, Hollywood & Highland and even drove thru Beverly Hills! All in 2 days! But, I won't bore you here with all those pics, you can check those out at my flickr!

Justin receiving his award at the morning ceremony from the President of the Pacific Northwest Divison of Pop Warner as well as some of the higher ups of Pop Warner National....
My little scholar....

Justin and his Grandma & Papa ready for the Dinner Banquet.... Justin and him Mom & Dad....as if you didn't know :-)
Enjoying his Shirley Temple....
Does anyone know who this is?? Natalie Coughlin! Olympic Gold Swimmer. She was one of the athletes honored by Pop Warner at the dinner banquet. She is so cute!
And, the highlight for Justin....getting Larry Johnson's autograph, RB for the Kansas City Chiefs! He was also honored by Pop Warner for his Inspiration to Youth. He gave an awesome speech to the kids!
